Key recommendations

  • Bishop score to select the method of induction
  • Misoprostol or dinoprostone for an unfavourable cervix
  • Continuous cardiotocographic monitoring during oxytocin infusion
  • Recognition and management of hyperstimulation

The protocol defines the minimum safety conditions for induction, including the ability to perform a caesarean section within 30 minutes.
